What is astrology?
Astrology is the ancient art of interpreting the symbolism of the heavens in order to discover its meaning for human beings. Natal astrology, the best known branch, deals with analysing an individual person’s birth chart in order to make useful statements about his or her life.
My Astrology
The astrology that I know and practice is based on the ancient tradition of Hellenistic astrology. I learnt this type of astrology from Chris Brennan, one of the major Hellenistic astrologers today, and have received his certifications in Natal Astrology, Electional Astrology, and Chart Rectification. I also practice Horary Astrology. More information on these can be found in ‘Services’. My approach, deeply rooted in the tradition, also integrates developments and practices from modern astrology.
My astrological perspective and my understanding of the nature and use of the art are also deeply informed by my background in Platonism – this Platonic perspective is one of my distinctive traits, and will always be a backdrop in the readings I give.
Services
My specialism is using the chart to identify the life path. I also have a strong interest in using astrology to study people’s spirituality.
I particularly enjoy working with young people and helping them get a clearer view of themselves, their timeline, and the “natal promise” of the birth chart. Of course, I am still perfectly happy to work with clients of any age.
Natal Astrology
A natal consultation involves the patterns that your chart indicates for your life, and consideration of timing techniques for the medium and long term.
Electional Astrology
An electional consultation aims to select an auspicious moment for initiating major ventures that you wish to see succeed. The time frame to select from is set by you.
Horary Astrology
Horary astrology aims to answer a question by casting a chart for it and interpreting it. This service is provided over email.
Chart Rectification
If you have an uncertain birth time, it will be necessary for you to first have your chart rectified. This means using your history to reverse engineer the chart.

Miscellaneous services
I also do tarot readings, and offer instruction in Platonic philosophy, certain languages, and historical studies. General life advice and counselling are also available.
